  • INTERN3F24: AI interface for our SLT3G1 All-in-One Electronic Tester

    Reference: INTRN3FY24

    Type:    Internship

    Duration: 6 or 3 months


    Description / Technical project

    Based on deep experience in test and measurements through the development of product SLT3G1 , we propose an internship research project for post-graduate or undergraduate students to contribute in the AI interface specification for our All-in-One tester software development kit.

    SLT3G1 has got an advanced control software kit to develop test scripts and automate the HW unit test with built in artificial intelligence layers. 

    The next objective target will be to provide true AI support capable of

    • Understanding the Test Engineer hardware specifications
    • Proposing a connectivity schematic of the HW to the tester
    • Proposing a schematic of the test board interface between the tester and the hardware
    • Proposing a set of test scripts with the maximum number of unit test vectors and checkers using SLRTOS language
    • Expertising the data content generated by the tester during operation and proposing advanced graphic projections and curve display

    The technologies used are javascript for front end and python/java for server side and middleware.

    The contribution of an intern in this type of work will be focused on abstraction and abstract layer implementation as well as demonstrating effectiveness with a true prototype covering a restricted selection of features.


    Candidate profile

    • MSEE/Engineering school post-graduate student. Accept undergraduate students with limited objective scope
    • Good programming skills (Python, C/C++,...)
    • Experience with microcontrollers, good notions of microcontroller architecture, memory management, operating system, communication protocols
    • Master basics of electronic circuits
    • Electrical circuit simulation  (Spice or equivalent)
    • Autonomy in physical modeling using CAD tools
    • Very good English skills
    • A strong will to learn deeper skills
    • Ability to work in project mode
    • Familiar with versioning systems (Git) is a plus
    • PCB design is a plus

  • INTRN1FY24: Hyper-parallel Real Time machine to machine operation

    This position has been fulfilled for this year.

    Duration: 6  months


    Technical project

    Based on deep experience in test and measurements through the development of product SLT3G1, we propose an internship research project for post-graduate MSEE students to investigate high-parallelization solutions for real-time operating system data acquisition, compression and remote control operation. 

    The student will be involved into a full stack firmware/software prototyping and proof of concept demonstration. 

    The objective is to realize a prototype of hyper-parallel real-time machine to generate parallel signals and achieve parallel data acquisition.
